This episode implies they are all hanging out after work regularly.
They do a good job communicating that House and Stacy have a history and leaving the details a mystery.Ĭhase and Cameron are now eating dinner together. They don't seem to match.įirst mention of Stacy. She seems to really love him, but I can't help but be cynical and wonder why they are together. The baseball player's wife has at least 20 IQ points on him. This show never shies away from the gross stuff… pee, barf, blood, etc. In season one, the solutions don’t always come to House in one big moment like they do in future seasons. Wilson comes in a triggers House’s epiphany, really for the first time. Patient hallucination where the coach gives him the pills. They clearly have no idea what is happening. They keep shooting the patient up with more atropine as his heart rate goes up and down. He’s strangely shy in a way, isn’t he?Ĭameron (who hates sports metaphors) tries one to connect with House. She’s straightforward asking if it’s a date and he immediately backs off and runs for the other room. He invites Cameron to the Monster Truck rally. Moral questions are always pragmatic questions for House. Presumably they haven’t had time to really struggle with infertility.Ĭameron and House are alone in the office. He says they have been trying to get pregnant practically since they met, but they are newlyweds. Interestingly the patient tries to take the decision away from her. The wife is pregnant setting up the moral dilemma - keep the baby and let the husband die or have an abortion so she can donate a kidney and save the husband. House is so cheap most of the time, but will drop big bills for something he really wants. $1000 for all access passes to the Monster Truck Jam.
(Which they don’t realize at this point).Īlso, looks like Cameron and Chase like the same drink. Ironically they are joking about this right in front of Cameron who is interested in House. He calls Chase a brown-noser and they both joke about House having to get sex from hookers presumably because no woman would put up with him. Foreman distracts them by changing the subject to House. How does the wife know she’s an organ match? Is she secretly his sister or something?Īt the bar, Foreman steps out and Cameron and Chase read his incoming text message. The wife is bold sitting in House’s chair in his office. What is that about? Did he get them on sale or steal them from a party? The coach shows up with a bunch of helium balloons that say Bar Mitzvah on them. Who is he calling? Why does he need so much cash?įoreman is late again and House can’t help but notice. He is buying the Monster Truck tickets, but they leave it very mysterious at first. It’s fun the way they are teasing House’s negotiations over the phone. Why is Foreman hiding that he’s seeing the drug rep? Is it considered unethical? Is that this drug rep? They certainly don’t sound like they’ve been dating for a while. Two episodes ago he told his old boss that he was “kinda-sorta seeing someone”. (He does continue to have an interest in boxing, like Hugh Laurie.)įirst look at Foreman’s Season 1 apartment, or is it a hotel room? I think it is supposed to be his apartment, but the furnishings are pretty generic looking. They kind of let this drop in future seasons. This time he brings out the baseball card to entice House. Seems like he brings about 1/4 of the cases. Nice generic organization.īryan Singer makes a cameo as the director in teaser. This long-running medical drama follows the professional and personal life of Gregory House- a witty, arrogant, rule-breaking, self-destructive, pain-pill addicted but genius diagnostician at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey.
